Alaska Trophy Mountain Goats Alaska Trophy Mountain Goats in GMU 7, Kenai Peninsula (south of Anchorage) are in high concentration in our units. We have taken several billies with 10+ inch horns. During Nov 1 - Dec 6, ADF& G has a limited draw area permits for Mountain Goat hunts with an application deadline of Dec 6. We assist clients in processing limited draw area applications for Mountain Goat hunts. If not selected, there are registration permits available on a first-come-first-serve basis in GMU 7 and 14C. This is a truly unique Mountain Goat hunts that offers breathtaking splendor of Alaska beauty. Trophy Mountain Goat hunting experience will rank among the best of your Alaska adventures. Other species available are: Black Bear (GMU 7 and 14C). Rate: $8,500 per person (1X1); 10 days Dates: Aug 10 - Oct 15 (draw permit); Nov 1 – Nov 30 (registration permit) GMU 7. Sept 1 - Oct 15 (registration permit) GMU 14C. Includes: Guide service, all meals, in-field accommodations, and trophy care. Transportation: Fly to Anchorage, Alaska and met at airport. Recommend clients plan on one night hotel stay before and after the hunt in Anchorage. A short charter may be required to our base camp depending on unit, approximately $300 charter RT. Additional fee for trophy and $.60 per lb. for additional equipment above 50 lbs. and trophy meat. License: Purchase license and tags online at Alaska Dept. Fish and Game website: www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/. Or, purchase upon arrival in Anchorage. License: $85 (nonresident). Mountain Goat tag: $300; Black Bear tag: $225. Hunt does not include: Airfare/charter, license/tags, and shipping of trophy or meat out of camp. *NOTE: Prices are subject to change due to increase costs in transportation, insurance, and ADF&G requirements. Clients will be notified of any changes before submitting a deposit on hunt. License and tag fees are slightly higher for nonresident alien clients.
